Explorer’s Hall is our main exhiubit sp[ace and it houses three of our main exhibitrs: In Search for Ancient Treasures, The Time Traveler and the entrance to our spaceship - The Galactic Stargazer.

$10 per child. Adults and Chaperones are free.
We offer free admission to East Orange Public Schools.

Field Trips or Group visits -Please make reservations in advance.
Our school field trips and Camp programs promote inquiry-based learning and creative thinking with guided standards-based exploration of the exhibits. Activities in our 11,000 square feet of interactive and immersive galleries can range from the WONDERS of EGYPT to the OUTER EDGES OF OUR GALAXY.
groups, including community organizations, camps, Newcomer Clubs, church youth groups,and of course schools are invited to make the jersey explorer Children’s Museum their outreach field trip resource or fun gathering and meeting spot.

Each year the Explorer produces a variety of special programs, holiday events, and international festivals both in the museum and in the surrounding park.

Welcome to an explorer’s camp. Take a tour on our touch screen Wonders of the World program and check out our discovery trunks from around the world and our explorer’s kits.
The GALACTIC STARGAZER
Welcome to our spaceship where visitors become the crew. Children come aboard the Stargazer for a one hour journey across a distant galaxy.

Black Cowboys of the Wild West is one of our smaller exhibits located on the lower level.
